When you register as a client with us, we will only record personal information with your knowledge and explicit consent. The personal information you provide may include your name, address, email address and telephone numbers

We use your information to contact you about Green  Pastures Veterinary Centre services and products. We may also use the information to inform you about the practice news, products, special services or special offers, processing payments and administering your account.

Sometimes we work in partnership with other companies who fulfil services on our behalf. We use a third party to provide vaccination and parasite control reminders. We only provide them with access to personal information that is needed to perform their particular business function. In circumstances where your personal information is disclosed and transferred to companies outside of Green Pastures Veterinary Centre ( for example processing insurance claims and transferring records to another veterinary practice at your request) we will endeavour to ensure that they adhere to our Privacy Policy and GDPR rulings and handle your personal data accordingly.

We have always taken steps to ensure that the appropriate security to protect personal data you disclose to us from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. All personal data you provide to us on our practice management software is held on our password protected secure servers for as long as is reasonably necessary. HSVS UK, providers of our management software assure us that they are fully committed to data handling and best practices.

Any personal information provided to us by means of signed paper consent is kept on our secure premises for seven years and then destroyed.

Monitoring communications

In the future we may record or monitor telephone calls both incoming and outgoing calls for training purposes and to help us continually improve customer service we provide to you. We also monitor incoming and outgoing emails to enable us to protect our internal business systems.

Changing/ updating your personal data from our records

If you receive reminders or notifications about our products and services, you can request for your personal information to be taken off these lists, so you don’t receive any further updates. Please do so either directly at reception, by telephoning, putting your request in writing or accessing your details via our website. Please allow 30 days for the changes to be update and completed.
