About Us

Green Pastures Veterinary Centre was founded in 1998 by our senior veterinarian, Kathy Barcham. Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to build and maintain a practice that offers service as professional as it is friendly. Now, we have a superb team of well-trained, compassionate staff members who are dedicated to providing outstanding service in all aspects of veterinary medicine.

Our Vision

We acknowledge the love between a human and a pet, so we want to keep pushing the boundaries of what the gold standard of veterinary care looks like.

We will achieve this by enhancing our clinical capability and expertise by being the most 'Outstanding' RCVS-awarded practice in the South West of England.

Our Purpose

We believe that pets are important, and we work to give them the longest, healthiest, happiest lives possible.

Our Values

The Green Pastures team has collaborated to define the qualities we believe are paramount to providing the best care for you and your pet. We hold the following values close to our hearts in everything we do and work hard to stay committed to them day in and day out.

Excellence

Green Pastures is committed to the investment in continuous learning and development - of our individuals and our teams. This means your pets have access to the latest knowledge and equipment appropriate for a 24-hour, first-opinion veterinary centre.

Our teams meet regularly to learn from our disappointments and to share, review, and implement our new knowledge.

Caring

Our care for you and your pet shines through in everything we do. We listen carefully so we can fully understand your pet's symptoms, situations, and needs. We are all pet owners, so we share the pet-human relationship with you, and we understand how it feels to have a sick pet.

When treating your pet, we always approach them in a compassionate and gentle way, seeking to minimise any anxiety and ensure they have a happy and positive experience with us.

Friendly

You receive a warm and professional welcome at Green Pastures. We invite you to ask for advice or seek clarification on any matter which concerns you, because we want you to be pleased with our level of service. We also want you and your pet to feel relaxed and happy when you come to visit us.

We are here to try and make any appointments or treatments as easy as possible for pet and our clients.

Our Awards & Accreditations
