Leptospirosis is a zoonotic disease, which means humans can catch it from their pets.

Symptoms of leptospirosis in dogs include:

• Muscle pain
• Diarrhoea
• Blood in urine
• Jaundice (yellowing of the eyes)

Infectious hepatitis is caused by the canine adenovirus, and is transmitted when a dog ingests faeces, saliva, or urine from another infected dog.

Symptoms of infectious hepatitis include:

• Vomiting
• Abdominal pain
• Seizures (severe)

Bordetella bronchisepta and parainfluenza are less severe than the diseases listed above, but we can still vaccinate your dog for these illnesses if we believe they are at risk.
